This Research Use Only (“RUO“) Policy explains the intended use of Products designated as Research Use Only. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, which govern your use of the Site, purchases, and the collection and use of personal information.

By purchasing, possessing, or using any Research Use Only Product from Foundation Aminos Inc., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this RUO Policy.

1. Research Use Only Designation

Unless expressly stated otherwise by Foundation Aminos Inc. in writing, all Products sold by Foundation Aminos Inc. are designated Research Use Only (RUO).

RUO Products are intended solely for lawful laboratory research conducted by qualified researchers, laboratories, educational institutions, or other individuals or organizations with the knowledge and expertise necessary to safely handle research materials.

RUO Products are not intended for general consumer use.

2. Prohibited Uses

Research Use Only Products sold by Foundation Aminos Inc. are not intended for:

• Human consumption;
• Veterinary use;
• Injection, inhalation, ingestion, or topical application;
• Clinical testing or patient care;
• Diagnostic procedures;
• Therapeutic or pharmaceutical use;
• Manufacture of drugs, biologics, food products, cosmetics, or medical devices;
• Diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or medical condition.

Foundation Aminos Inc. does not authorize or condone any use of its Products that is inconsistent with their Research Use Only designation.

3. Purchaser Certifications

By purchasing a Research Use Only Product, you represent and warrant that:

• You understand the intended research purpose of the Products.
• You possess, or are acting under the supervision of individuals possessing, the education, training, and experience necessary to safely handle laboratory research materials.
• You will use the Products solely for lawful research purposes consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
• You will not use, transfer, distribute, or permit the Products to be used for any prohibited purpose identified in this Policy or our Terms & Conditions.

4. Safe Handling & Compliance

Purchasers are solely responsible for ensuring that Products are:

• Stored appropriately;
• Handled using accepted laboratory practices;
• Used with appropriate engineering controls and personal protective equipment;
• Transported and disposed of in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Foundation Aminos Inc. exercises no control over Products after delivery and assumes no responsibility for their handling, storage, transportation, or use.

5. Regulatory Status

Foundation Aminos Inc. supplies laboratory research materials and is not:

• A licensed pharmacy;
• A compounding pharmacy operating under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act;
• An outsourcing facility operating under Section 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act;
• A healthcare provider or medical laboratory.

Statements made on this Site have not been evaluated by the United States Food and Drug Administration unless expressly stated otherwise.

Nothing contained on this Site should be interpreted as medical advice, pharmaceutical guidance, or a representation that any Product is approved for human or veterinary use.

6. Compliance with Applicable Laws

By purchasing or using any Product supplied by Foundation Aminos Inc., you acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for the lawful, safe, and appropriate handling, storage, transportation, and use of all Products after delivery.

8. Related Policies

This Research Use Only Policy supplements, and should be read together with, the following Foundation Aminos Inc. policies:

• Terms & Conditions, which govern all purchases and use of the Site.
• Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected.

In the event of a conflict between this Policy and the Terms & Conditions regarding legal obligations, the Terms & Conditions shall control.
